Traffic Fine

Just remember your car is not covered by insurance while for sale at a dealer. Make sure they have insurance such as Internal and External Motor Traders and Theft cover.
 
I would like to ask can this work in my favour on 03/04 August, I was at work here in Rustenburg so its impossible for me to be in Pretoria. I can provide clocking history that indeed I was at work on that day.

Your car got a ticket in Pretoria, that is all that matters. As it is now it's like you lent your car to a friend who got a ticket. As I said ask about this at the traffic department http://www.aarto.gov.za/index.php/nominate-driver.

I will ask them tomorrow but in my case I don't know who was driving my car. All I know I sold the car July 2018. I'll get all the information tomorrow.
 
Update! So yesterday I went to traffic department since my car is still in my name, I have an option of removing it from the road. I told the guy from the garage, he immediately put me in touch with the guy who is driving the car.

He promised me he will sort everything out, I should send him, the traffic fines reference numbers. He will sort everything out I must just give him a day or two. Today I talked to him by WhatsApp he said he still busy sorting everything out, talking to magistrate honestly I don't believe him. I feel I should give him the benefit of the doubt because he sound so sincere, but I feel like I should cut my losses remove the car from the road and pay off those tickets move on with my life.
 
WhatsApp conversation so far he has not asked me anything personal details, although I would not give him my personal details just that I hope he is not taking me for a ride.

Hey man, this schit is taking too long. How about unleashing some of that black magic on that guy like when you promised to unleash it on @Pakka

I don't know how it works, but after you did whatever you did, Pakka is a much nicer person.
 
This happened to my uncle, but not a car license. He sold a business without making sure all the paperwork was correct. The guy ran up 20 million in debt, which my uncle had to pay. Always make sure you follow the correct process
 
bump....what is the procedure to nominate another driver on a traffic fine?
i tried on the website, and got this message:
Infringement status is Courtesy letter. Nomination not allowed in this status

I also sent an email...and got this reply...:

Kindly note your fine is on Courtesy letter stage, on this stage you won’t be able to do a Nomination

I don't understand what it means? must i wait for the status to change or i am unable to nominate anymore?
what should i do?
 
Ignore it for now..

Tell whoever was driving the vehicle to give you the cash if you are desperate to pay the fine.
