Hi there,
Quick question I have three outstanding fines(between myself and my wife) I need to pay.
I was hoping to go to the magistrate and plead for a reduction as any savings help :)

The problem is that they dont send you the fines anymore via post so I have no paper proof of the fines.
Is there a way I can print the infringements and go to the magistrates office?

The fines seems all in the East rand side of the valley.

Wait for them to send you something. They will either send another notification, or a warrant of arrest, or it will show up on your Licensing Renewal as an outstanding fine.
Then I would only pay it at that stage.
The reason for this is that a lot of fines get withdrawn due to faulty procedures, and it's not wise to pay them too soon as there is like a 50/50 chance you may never have to pay them.
East Rand (Ekurhuleni) falls under the Criminal Procedure Act, and they would notify you if it went to the Arrest Warrant stage. Even at that point you can still have the option of just paying the fine.
I have done this many many times over the years. In fact - when I went to do my License renewal only 1 out of about 20 fines showed up as being due.
