Traffic Lights

Heya peeps,

I dunno if it is just me, but I have noticed that the municipalities just do not give a damn about traffic light that are off anymore!! The lights on the cnr of Malibongwe and Pres Fouche has been off for 2 weeks now, and further down Malibongwe towards the Hyundai it has been off for a month + now. This is causing such heavy delays in the morning and evening. The traffic is still backed up onto the highway at 19h00 in the eves.

And it is not only on Malibongwe that this is happening. It is all over the show. Must be like 6 or more lights off on my journey to the office in the mornings, and I drive on the highway for 10km out of my 15km trip.

It is becomming ridiculous and a real banana republic!!

Yip, it is ridiculous. Those lights on Malibongwe have been out for ages, its beyond a joke.

If anything these broken robots are just wasting electricity. Switch the damn things off if you not going to fix them.

Grrr, an old primary school teacher slapped the robot out of me. To this day I duck whenever I hear the word robot being mentioned instead of traffic light...

In CoCT I've never experienced a robot being out for more than a day or two.

Most of the other metros in GP are not nearly as bad as CoJ.
