What do I need to know to get this job?
• Matric + relevant qualification
• 2+ years’ experience as a Traffic Manager within a digital agency environment
• Scrum Master experience and/or knowledge of Scrum
• Experience working with project plans using MS Project
• Experience using project management tools like Redmine/Jira etc.
• A good knowledge of the terminology and technical aspects related to web & mobile development
• Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills (essential)
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal
• A complete understanding of the digital process and how to run the production lines
• Ability to recommend and define processes to continuously improve the business
• Ability to understand a client’s business and project requirements
What will I do every day?
You will be responsible for the daily resourcing and SCRUM process of various client projects that include website CMS builds, mobile application development, microsite campaigns and more. You will be working closely with many stakeholders including the Operations Director, sales, designers, developers, project managers, business analysts, and financial controllers to oversee efficient and cost sensitive resourcing for all projects. You will work closely with the client and 3rd party agencies to ensure a smooth and successful delivery of projects. The Operations Director will oversee your work to ensure the quality and fulfilment of products and services. It is essential that you understand internet technologies and terminology and the workflow of a typical digital project lifecycle. You will have experience working in a digital agency environment and have a good working understanding in project planning, project management, client expectation management, risk management and pressure situation management.
• Responsible for the delivery/trafficking of every project that comes through the business
• Coordinate and run internal daily SCRUM process (stand-ups)
• Keep a close eye on all project deadlines to ensure that the project is delivered on time
• Keep a close eye on all project resourcing to ensure that the project is delivered on budget
• Keep a close eye on all project invoices to ensure that the project is invoiced on time
• Plan resourcing, track timelines and provide feedback to the project PM and the Operations Director on a projects progress
