I'm curious about how Sanral handles trailers. I believe that when the Etoll cameras take vehicle pictures, front and rear plates need to match before it's invoiced. How does that work with trailers? Obviously plates won't match; do they bill the car as well as the owner, or neither, or what?

It should not matter as you don't need to pay them :)

Oh, I don't!

Thing is, if SANRAL does actually take non-payers to court, they have to have their billing 100% correct. If, for example, it was found that they billed twice for a car plus a trailer, or not at all, it would destroy the credibility of their billing, and make every single transaction suspect.

Well we know their billing is completely wrong already, so you don't have to wonder about that.
