Hey.
I want some advice. My girlfriends father is moving house and has spoken to Telkom and they have confirmed there is a telephone line to the place he's moving but they still have to check if it can be ADSL enabled. Its on a farm plot just outside Stellenbosch. He has a 2 year contract with Telkom for the ADSL. Now my problem is I am going to be moving from Strand to this new property for a couple of months to save on costs and pay a bit of my debt back. I also have a 2 year contract with Telkom.
My question is will I be able to get my own number and hence my own ADSL line using existing Telkom wiring to the plot or is this asking for to much? Does Telkom normally only have 1 line running into a house or can this line be split to include more numbers?
What advice can you give?
