In the interests of keeping things civil, at least a little, I start this thread for all those who do not wish/have been forbidden to post in the 'other' transfer thread.

A sad state of affairs indeed. But it seems it cannot be helped.

So, a quick recap. Ronadlo could or couldn't be going. Either way, United score the best player in the world for another season or whatever 75-100 million will buy :)

What else is there?

Lol yeah, but I don't think he will come to United :(

What about the rest of the Barca boys being offlaoded? And Essien? Though I hear that Mourinho has been given obsene amounts of cash to spend again, for Inter this time, so he might steal more players from us again :(

I think Essien is way overrated. I'd rather have Gareth Barry than him.

You reckon?

AW said he is not going to spend lots and Rafa has all but conceded the title chase already :o

yeah but according to Sky, AW enquired with quite a few clubs already. I'll be keeping a close watch on Arsenal when the season begins.

that Rafa comment was very ammusing.

Will probably be a two-horse race again though :o

Rafa is not really interested in the Prem anyway. Saying that he hasn't got even half what Man U or Chelsea have to spend. Hell he's probably got less than Tottenham, Aston Villa or even Everton :o.

Signing Gareth Barry would be encouraging. More suited to the prem than Europe IMO

rated Europes best in the past 5 years, i would assume Liverpool stashed with alot of cash. Rafa is a manager who cant spot talent. thats all.
