My Huawei P9 seems to have given up the ghost after a touch over 1 year. I need a phone urgently and was hoping to go later and sign up for a P10 on R499pm package (cheapest I could get on Vodacom).

It is a Flexi150 package that I obviously don't need - but can I transfer the airtime to my main account every month?

Is the P9 on contract, if it is remember it comes with 2 years of warranty, if Vodacom can't fix it they will give a new one or you choose another phone and pay the difference if you want to keep the subscription cost.

Yea it is. I just thought it takes time, so get something in the meantime. But I'm just a little fedup and not thinking.

Maybe I should try get a new Huawei charger and cable first. Just such a mission to get a proper one and it seems that Vodacoms just sell genetics

No you cannot. Why not = Vodacom Standard Business rules/principal = Other networks have the same rule by an other title
.
Top Up = Flexi = Uchoose = Hybrid contract= Bucket of Airtime monthly allocated= Other network's have the same by an other title.

Your monthly allocation of airtime may not be Transferred=Gifted by another title, Only the Extra you have brought/added to the allocated monthly amount.

What's wrong with the phone?

It's a very random but annoying issue :

Sometimes I plug in over night and wake to 35% or lower. Charges super super slow
Other times works 100%
Other times, the phone battery goes down while I use it and plugged in (never used to do that)
Even on occasion when sitting at 20%, it freezes when I snap a photo - and when it eventually comes on, it's 0%

Some point to the battery being an issue ... and others points to the charger / port

Best to get a cheap phone in the meantime, no use taking a chance and getting a new charger for, Vodacom will test it for you. Once they test it to figure out the problem then will begin fix it if they can.

You can use smartcall load a buddy service. It's expensive and you will lose atleast 50% though.

You could also just use that airtime to buy on googple with. Buy music or movies in app purchases by using the carrier billing option
