Transfering video files from PC to cell

I have the N82, but cant seem to transfer most of my movie files to the cell cause it says the file type is not supported. All of the files play fine in windows media player however. Is there a way to install codecs on your cell to support most video types?

I am a new gen cell phone noob so any inputs are appreciated, thanks!

How about converting those files before trying to load them on your cell?

3GP and MP4 is supported by most cellphones.

WinAVI Video Converter should be able to help you there.

You'll have to convert them to the formats mentioned ^^. Try Nokia multimedia converter - available free from their developers forum.
