Hi,

Quick question, is there any way to quickly transfer something, like a file or link from an iPhone to an iPad? Link transfer would be great, one of the great mentioned features of the touchpad was the ability to transfer a link by touching the phone to the tablet...

Thanks, but doesn't iCloud require you to sync to the cloud (internet)? I was looking for something that could create a quick ad-hoc wifi or bluetooth connection...

Especially if you have your iPad at hand, and have started reading something interesting on your iPhone...

The syncing is seamless. I'm always amazed how quickly new safari bookmarks make it from my computer to my ipad.

Maybe Goodreader will do it.

EDIT - if I can find the missus' iPad I'll test it.

iCloud. Or there are a tonne of apps that can do it over a local wifi network that you create with your iPhone
