I'm trying to make 100% sure of any transit visas I need for my upcoming trip.

I know I don't need a visa for my final destination which is Honduras, however I need to hop around to avoid the US as you do need a transit visa there.

So looks like I'll be going through Amsterdam -> France -> Mexico City.

Does anyone know if I need a transit visa for Amsterdam -> France? I looked online and it doesn't appear so (going from France -> Amsterdam however does appear to require one, but I'm not going that way).

Also I find conflicting info on whether I need a transit visa for Mexico as a few sites say nobody needs a transit visa (if just changing connecting flights) but If I visit the Mexico embassy page for South Africa it is listed as one of the options.

Anyone traveled through using these routes on a SA passport recently?

I'll answer one of my own questions here in case somebody stumbles across this.

For Mexico you don't need a transit visa per se but it is highly recommended otherwise you'll have to sit in a small unconformable holding room with no access to anything (no toilet) between your connecting flights. There is only a single consulate in Pretoria.

Regarding Amsterdam I'm still not sure but I've changed routes now and going via Sao Paulo which SA passport holders are freely able to travel to.
