Transnet crisis more complex than Eskom

Transnet has asked the National Treasury for an Eskom-style debt relief plan. However, its problems are more complex and will require structural reform to solve.

Yeah, but we do not need a railway system or ports managed by the government. The past 20 years have shown this. I think the complexity lies in the retrenchment of many tens of thousands of people who were employed by the state only.
