The Yego doubles as a USB hub, allowing users to plug in an additional two USB-powered devices - great if your laptop, like the Air, has only one USB port.

Apple MacBook Air users will be particularly interested in Traxdata's EZ Drive Yego, a 2 GB USB thumb drive. The Yego doubles as a USB hub, allowing users to plug in an additional two USB-powered devices - great if your laptop, like the Air, has only one USB port.

You can even make a string of Yego drives - three of the devices connected together will give you four USB ports. Just don't expect to charge too many devices that way.

The Yego, which is available from Incredible Connection, supports USB 2.0. The device is also compatible with older USB 1.1 ports. It works out of the box with Windows (2000 and later), Mac (8.6 and up) and Linux (kernel 2.4).

The Yego also has an automatic power-saving mode, so, though a device like this draws very little electricity anyway, it'll help to keep you in Eskom's good books. Best of all is the price: at R349, the Yego is cheaper than most other thumb drives.
