Well i got Dsl Early on in sept, and i looked around for the best ISP offers, and lo and behold, i found cybersmart, who offer R100 for 3gb cap, which i thought was pretty amazing.
Being relatively informed of november 1st etc, i phoned them and asked if they were gonna be affected by Nov 1st and will it become more expensive etc, no no they said we wont be affected.
So i log onto my account now to check my logs etc (To see my sis isnt using my cap up at home while i am at work.) and right there i read this account is hard capped, when your cap runs out the account is disabled. (I am pretty sure this wasnt there before as why am i only noticing it now?? but i cant be certain.
)
So now i am pretty pissed.
If they dont offer 30gb local on top of that i will use someone else.
They also in their contract u sign say you will have to pay for the next month aswell if you cancel,so i reckon im gonna find out from them whether or not they are going to have local 30gb cap or other options,so i have time to cancell for this month and october,so that by nov 1st i can use someone else.
So this is just a warning to other people who are not sure what is up with their isp's...chances are they wont tell you.
So just keep an eye out.
