My relationship with WA has until now been a very happy one, I say until recently .........

Last month I get "SUSPENSION WARNING SMS from the very same ISP for an arrears of 79 rand some cents, obviosly a 1gb that i bought just before rollover, so I phoned and moaned, I have been with WA for nealry 5 years and spend way too much on bandwidth. I mean 79 rand!!!! pfft i was not impressed.

Anyway today i get another threat SMS that my account is in arrears for R400.00 RAND, I immediately pay, phone wa and speak to accounts and ask that i not be disconnected, bah that helped not, even though my bank sends an email to them advising them of payment.
Whwen i phoned accounts i WAS TOLD that the recipient of the email, was "not available" that day................ omw!!!! omgoodlly gosh.

So beware WA'ers You will get deconned and suspended for the least of the accounting violation.

New billing system FTW!!!! ????

oH by the way I am posting using Prime Beef Telkom Bandwidth :) still waiting for my wa account to be re-connected.......................

WAY TO GO WA :(

BITTER:mad:

Hey there SToF,

Do you wanna pm me your client code and I'll get this followed up with our accounts manager first thing in the morning for you.

We have been doing a lot of billing improvements recently, to ensure everything is as absolutely smooth as possible and while we have done our absolute best to take into account every contingency there are always unfortunately some things that slip through the cracks.

That being said I am sure we can sort this out for you first thing and get everything clarified - sincere apologies for any inconvenience this has caused you.

Hey SToF,

Thanks for sending me your client code. (In case you see this before the message) I've re-activated the accounts and sorted everything out (I hope), I'll wait on your response to confirm though.

My experience with WA has been great so far. I suppose every company has some issues. Great stuff Waroop for sorting that for SIMPLE TWIST OF FATE

I have an account with WA. I try as hard as possible to ensure that every invoice is paid, promptly, by placing them in the accounts-lady's tray of stuff to pay. Sometimes, the response from that desk is not perfect - invoices go missing or are skipped. Anyway, every now and then, our account falls behind and I end up doing a manual "recon" to work out exactly what didn't get paid - a domain renewal here, an extra GB there.

I have yet to be disconnected, even after falling behind to the tune of over R 400.00.

(Perhaps our status as a "reseller" has something to do with this. We aren't, actually, a reseller (anymore), but we do have a LOT of services on our account code and were a reseller in the past.)

Meh. They get their money, I get my service.
