Trillian for Mac

No idea. If I didn't have to sign up to download the beta, I might have been able to tell you :)

I use Trillian on my XP Virtual machine and Adium on my Mac ... much of a muchness if you ask me

I just use iChat - it does great video :)

If iChat could do multiple accounts and different account types like Adium/Pidgin/Gaim/Trillian/Kopete does, I'd use it for sure...

Do those others do video conferencing?

Some protocols can, but none of the clients, that I know of, does video. Skype works well enough for that though.

My experience has shown that Skype video isnt even in the same league as iChat.

I Can't compare - I haven't used iChat for video.
You should try it - my missus says there are few things as daunting as a mother-in-law on a 42" plasma. :o

EDIT - though I did think it fair to point out that at least my mother has a mute button.

LOL. I guess I should be fortunate I don't have one of those. The M-I-L, that is.

Does it comes out yet..I have no clue...See adium X was the first multiprotocol client I ever had on my platter more than 5mins. You can customize it for everything, theres an entire adium extras website with themes, sounds, icons, etc etc. Adium has not had any connection issues for me using ICQ AIM ,Rendevous and http://www.rhubcom.com turbomeeting and the tabbed message window is just perfect. my 2cents of course...

I still want an MSN client that can do offline messaging. All my MSN windows idiots message me offline, and I get the message 6 months later when I log onto a windows machine!

Get friends who aren't idiots. Really, why do you want to jump through hoops for people who are clearly to stupid to understand that "off-line" means you're not "on-line"?
