Do those others do video conferencing?If iChat could do multiple accounts and different account types like Adium/Pidgin/Gaim/Trillian/Kopete does, I'd use it for sure...
My experience has shown that Skype video isnt even in the same league as iChat.Some protocols can, but none of the clients, that I know of, does video. Skype works well enough for that though.
You should try it - my missus says there are few things as daunting as a mother-in-law on a 42" plasma.I Can't compare - I haven't used iChat for video.
I still want an MSN client that can do offline messaging. All my MSN windows idiots message me offline, and I get the message 6 months later when I log onto a windows machine!
