Tringme BB free calls

Only seems to work over wifi for me, doesn't detect 3G at all. I suppose the networks could be blocking the ports or something?

will this work over BIS 3G or is it an exclusion of what BIS will cover?

Cants seem to get a green dot even though i do have 3g coverage.

Perhaps this will leave the readers with a better understanding of tringME...

TringMe can only be used to get FREE calls if you have WIFI. Otherwise NO free calls

Tringme 1.6 in Lesotho

hey there, i use a BB curve 8520, and live in Lesotho. Is it possible for me to use Tringme, cause i downloaded the 1.6 version, and it doesn't connect using 3G/Wi-fi. I don't know whether the 8520 is limited, or is there another problem that I may not be aware of?
Hi All,

Please note that to make FREE calls you and your family/friends MUST be on WiFi or 3G and MUST be using the TringMe application (the application can be downloaded from bb.tringme.com).

To use FREE WiFi-to-WiFi or 3G calling, you MUST be using our latest version (1.3.x) and should be connected to WiFi or 3G. You will see a green dot on the top right corner if you are ready to receive calls using the application. If you see a red dot, that means you aren't ready to receive incoming calls which generally happens if the network connectivity is lost.

Your number (876xxxxxx) can be viewed from the Options screen (go to menu and click on Options). When your friends or family dial this number using TringMe application, you will get an incoming call on the application and then you can talk FREE.

You do not need any credits to make a free call. You will need credits only if you are dialing someone who is not using this application or not on WiFi/3G. TringMe application will indicate whether it's a free or paid call.

You can contact us at tringmesupport.com if you need further assistance.

Thanks,
TringMe Support
