These guys just recently launched, anyone using them yet?

Their prices do look good thou.

@Lexor, I doubt thatll be anything they can resolve. IS will be the ones doing the shaping!

Although our Express accounts are more expensive, note that we do not re-shape / modify our wholesale bandwidth in any way that we get from IS, unlike other ISPs. In general, our network speed is faster than most competing ISPs.

Sounds good, but how would that benefit me? During the day I'm throttled, at night I get my full line speed.
How would what you stated above justify the extra R120 I would be paying for the product if I where to buy it from you instead of Axxess?

*edit* I'm just curious. Not trying to be confrontational :)

Well for starters, other ISPs applies additional shaping to already shaped bandwidth. Then they have this extreme AUPs and Terms & Conditions of service.

The problem is that at big corporate companies, you are just another number. When contacting their technical support number, you have to wait for ages before someone answers the phone. Then most of the time when they eventually answer your call, you find that the person who answered does not know very much and they transfer you. After holding for another hour or so, someone else answers and you have to repeat your whole problem again.

@reubel i saw on an other thread that if im unsatisfied with the line speed off the account you said you would give a full refund, does that still apply? and if i wanted an account for one month only is it still possible?

so far i like these guys they seem friendly

We only offered a full refund when we've started our uncapped offerings. But our clients are very satisfied, especially since we offer value-added services that no other ISP does. I've been using TorrentFlux now for 5 days, and I can say it is a blast. The torrents download much quicker to their servers than through my 4Mbps line, and once they are finished I'm able to download them at 250Kb/s to my computer. I've very happy with the service.

However, this thread caught my eye: complaint-from-Warner-Bros

Reuben, how does that affect TRLTech and the users using TorrentFlux? Are you gonna add some layer of protection?

Also, why can't we PM you :)
 
OK so here we have an ISP who offers TorrentFlux, that's a first :D I hope that IS - who I believe he's reselling to is happy with this... I find it a tad unprofessional for an ISP to do this, just my 2 cents I guess, just doesn't seem right as ISPs shape for a reason.
... And now he's banned for spamming?
