Any feedback for Torrentflux and Rapidleech are welcome. As with any new service, there might be small hickups, so please report any problems. We would also be doing some changes to the Torrentflux system during the course of the day to improve performance etc. Current users of Torrentflux would not be affected during this time and can continue to use Torrentflux as normal. :)

ReubenL... Well... No complaints here... Actually only praises...

Currently downloading a 1.7Gig torrent at 0.5-1MB/s. Yes 1Megabyte, not Megabit. which seems pretty awesome, so it's under 30 mins for that file. Second torrent can't connect to peers. I'll just leave this one running for a while.. Could be a low amount of seeders (forgot to check out the torrent stats before downloading).

Seems to be flying with the few users online right now. Will give you guys feedback as soon as I start downloading the files from home. Awesome update, R!:D

Thanks for your positive feedback. I'm glad that you are satisfied with the upgrade - I've told you guys it would be worth the wait ;)

Is there still ftp? There's no point in downloading the files directly from the torrentflux site as it doesn't support resume.

Although the old Torrentflux didn't support resume, this new one does. But I'll hook each user up with an FTP account :)

We are busy with changes to Torrentflux, so FTP might be available later today otherwise tomorrow at the latest.

Nice one. Been using DownthemAll in firefox there new version 2.0 beta 1 has a speed limiter built in so I can set a max limit surf and wow and dl'd at the same time :)

Will look into the FTP tho once its available just happy to get 400+ KB/s atm so "if it an't broke don't fix it " :)

resume function is not enabled i just paused a file now and it started all over again

The resume function is only available when using a download manager such as Flashget or Internet Download Manager. I've verified this again just now and the resume function is working perfectly.

We'll be installing another bittorrent client and activate it later in Torrentflux. It has a reputation in the industry for being the fastest bittorent client with a lower memory footprint, so it should speed thing up. If not, we can always just switch to the current bittorent client.

ok im checking now once again

still not working im on mac osx and using speed download.... just lost a file that was at 50%

in downloading at speed of -10kb/s!!! what is going on??? these speed are pathetic

Dryburn you using firefox or Safari on your mac ?
If your using safari try iGetter
# iGetter resumes broken downloads, checking date and size.
# iGetter supports Segmented (Accelerated) downloading. This basic feature of iGetter can greatly improve the speed of your downloads.
# iGetter supports HTTP and FTP protocols as well as HTTPS and FTP over SSL implicitly and explicitly.

If firefox try DownThemAll! 2.0 beta 1
I'm using it and it does resume my downloads.

We are busy looking into this sudden drop in speed. As I've said earlier, there might be hickups (as with any new service).

Doesn't work with downthemall. It shows I'm able to pause it, but if I click pause and then resume later, it just starts from the beginning.

How do you use flashget? Whenever I click on a link it keeps on trying to download the index.php.

Click on "Directory List", then click on your username and click on the filename. Flashget should then open displaying the filename and size etc. Let me know if this helps.

The moment I do that it pops up and it already asks me if I want to save it as "index.php"
