A few days ago I Updated my Quick Time Player to 7.3
this morning My BitDefender Blocked the Trojan computer not infected.
File C\program files \Quick Time\ QTTask.exe

I uninstalled QT disinfection failed ....
Moved Failed...

Googleling found many with the same Problem, Any one Else?

Thanks for the Direct Link ,and for Explaining things
Have filehippo as a fav in IE7 ( Maybe Vista Home prem NOT like my stuff I put in computer :D
Downloading from your link as I type with 1 finger..:D

OT ; Your sig remindes me of the GOON SHOW best BBC radio comedy of all Time.
MY 11y old son loves Anime to ;) :D

Probably a false positive. The "generic" indicates that it is not specifically identified as a virus, but contains code that looks very virus-like.

Just a trigger happy Anti-virus. I would not worry about it.

It's a pleasure. There is also a Real Alternative if you don't enjoy using real player. Both are included in the K-lite mega codec pack Filehippo
So if you generally watch lots of videos/movies, it's nice having a decent fully updated codec pack which allows you to play all types of audio/video content :)

As HavocXphere stated, your AV is probably detecting a false positive. All anti viruses get those unfortunately. If you downloaded the quicktime from the apple website itself, I doubt it's virus infected :)

OT: My sig is from: link :D
