My old DSL modem, the one you get for free from Telkom when you self-install, threw a fit on Wednesday and died, so yesterday I went and exchanged it for a new one which was a different model. After some assistance from a friend I was up and running again.
But now I'm having trouble connecting with game servers. I tried going on my BF2 account, but I got a "server refused the connection" error. Reading that it might be temporary, I tried again this morning. Same thing. I also get a connection error when trying to connect to Voyage Century Online' servers. But I can surf normally on the web, so is this just a problem with the servers or is there a problem on my side?
And another oddity: for some reason I had 200MB of cap vanish from my Cybersmart ISP account since yesterday, even though I only used 18MB of cap. What gives?
