Continued from thread title:

Then, it tries to boot its self up again but fails. and I am unable to turn on manually. Please see the video I've uploaded.

I'm not sure where to begin to solve this?

PSU, CPU overheating?

Those are my guesses...

Please help guys :(

Edit: Yes, I used an iPhone to take the video, and yes, I have forgotten to turn the phone landscape.

Install Prime95 and test if it does, install Furmark and test.

Check CPU and GPU temps with CoreTemp and GPUz.

Try pulling off the connector from the power button pins on the motherboard and start it by shorting the pins manually. It looks like it could be a faulty button. Next possible culprit is psu.

Afternoon Guys,

So I've ran Prime95 and furmark and everything works, temps increase gradually until about 80 degrees and it hovers there, CPU went to a max of 70 degrees then drops back down to about 63 degrees, no crashing etc..

I suspect now it could be due to my system drawing too much power - as I was using USB3 to charge a device while playing ?

Would this make a difference?

How big is your Power supply?

Definitely PSU,

Charged a my powerbank using the USB3 port and was able to replicate the issue.

For the record I use a 550W PSU :o

Make & model?

Your system should not exceed 350W at full load though.

Where in the hell did you get those numbers, 770GTX uses 230watt at full load.CPU 84 watts at 310 it excludes the ram, and SSD, the motherboard, fans, light and what not else 5v and 3v.Due to the crap PSU huntkey is notorious for bad ripple and not even remotely possible of supplying rated full load, and for extended period of time, very much doubt this PSU even have dual PCIe cables the 770GTX would need.

Amazing this user hasn't lost all his hardware, because of the crap PSU.

Plug his PC into a power meter and see for yourself. MB, RAM & drives do not use much power compared to the gpu & cpu. If you don't have a power meter just use msi afterburner to record your gpus power usage. Gaming your system will NEVER use anything close to max tdp.

There are a few youtube videos out there wrt this topic, this is the first one that comes to mind from memory https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LiWThqgFfI4

The OPs problem is that he has a kuk psu, I doubt it delivers anything near what it claims, time for a decent psu that can actually deliver what it claims.
