I'm new here and need some advice.
I've had Telkom ADSL for some time and most recently had a Mega 100 WR router that ran 2 PCs on hard cable and 1 PC on wireless. After a recent storm, we lost the wireless on the 100 WR and they gave me a 105 WR as a replacement..... it didn't work at all - and neither did the subsequent 3 other 105s they gave me.
I've tried just swapping the routers and even tried running the new 105 software. - When I do that, it tells me the modem/router cannot synchronise with the DSL line. Telkom engineers insist the DSL line is now fixed and it's either the router or something I'm doing wrongly and the Telkom shop who keep giving me new routers, insist it's not the routers.
So, can anyone out there suggest what might be wrong or has anyone else out there had trouble with the 105 WR?
