True Crime Expo

Yeah but its still not getting the government to do anything about it though. I thought great lets see what sort of responce Niels site gets form Gov and nadda they said thats not happening here and brushed him off it doesnt even concern them that international reporters are featuring the site they havent made a statement in action against crime as yet. That would at least show they concerned.
This Malan guy is right to but the government wont even pay attention to him because he's almost justifying that the crime level is not as bad as it is. I live in a damn fortress dammit, its bad. Also at 17 how much real world experiance has he got drive around JHB at night resently Malan ? come out of a mall to find your car missing ? when you live in a quiet area do you get parranoid every time someone is following behind you on your way home ? or have you had a gun pointed at you at an intersection (not even late at night) or get mugged as you get out your car to go to the shop ?
Maybe I'm unlucky I dunno but a few of those things have also happened to plenty of my friends and not just white friends.The crime rate hasnt dropped because of government action or police stepping up its because ppl read reports on crime and become more aware of whats going on around them. I moved back to Cape Town and all my friends think I'm paranoid but thats what I had to do in JHB to be safe and Cape Town is not far off next I'm moving to Bredasdorp my uncle doesnt even need to lock his house doors at night, he leaves his shop open and goes next door to get change.
