Hi everyone I have a weird problem
When accessing TC I open the app , using the dialer on my home screen.
I see a list of who I called and I want to call that same person again.
I click on the name and it sometimes opens up the messages.
I dont use the TC app for messages i just want to click on the person and let it dial.
Sometimes it works and sometimes I have to click on the dial in the top right corner and then click the number to dial once i click the name.
Its bloody irritating and time consuming to clikc on so many options.
Anyone know how to just enable it to dial the number when u click the name?
It sometimes allows this but I dont know what if making it not do this as a standard.

Well, I disabled the SMS permission for TrueCaller.
You see that little telephone next to a cell number?
Just tap it...

Yes problem is its small and before or sometimes u can just click in the name and it works but sometimes it doesn't and I can't work out why

I understand the frustration, I think the telephone icon's borders is small, meaning if you do not tap on it directly, it thinks you want to open the name, along with the history....
I just confirmed it with my debug modes on...
The box is really small...

Exactly but it hasn't always been like this.

TC is constantly changing, having simple features a few years back, but now bloated with useless features, like the ES Explorer App. Was good, before the bloat took over...

You are 100% right, just let us use the features we want, simpler is better, and I am paying premium for this so I expect it to work the way it was.
Its very frustrating

TC is sloooowly starting to annoy me more than I find it useful. I don't think I'll reinstall it once I refresh my phone a bit. It seems to popup that TC Gold subscription every time I'm REALLY urgently trying to make a call.

I did not bother to install Truecaller when I got my Samsung A51 work phone. The Samsung dialer has its own Smart Caller ID. I have since installed the Google Phone app (dialer) and I think it also comes with its own Caller ID.

Truecaller was just becomming annoying with its pop ups asking to subscribe etc. Bleh.

Thanks Ocks, I spoke to a few people today, all complaining, I mailed the developer and asked them why fix something that isnt broken?
And to think I paid for this app?
I just want to select a contact and click on them and it then dials out, I dont need all this fancy ****

Any suggestions on a better dialer? Something that you just clik on contact and it dials? Because the standard app also doesnt allow this, you click on the contact and still have to then click dial

Same problem here. Exactly when I need to make an urgent call, Truecaller spams me with a screen to upgrade to Premium/Gold... bloody annoying.

Its just as kak, you selct the person and then need to click dial, previously i just searched or clicked on the person and it dialed, whi does it have to be so many steps to make a damn call

This looks like it might be a nicer dialer app than the standard Samsung one, but it says incompatible with device. Are we not allowed to use this in South Africa or is it only for Google devices like the Pixels or Android One devices like Nokia? :(
