TrueNAS Scale / ZFS Drive Test

Hi guys,

Re-installed a HDD into my TrueNAS Scale (mean physical and did the cabling,) so it's show available in OS.

Not part of a Diskpool yet.

I want to run a thorough test on the drive, suggestions.

What sort of tests, and why?

I had a drive that suddenly err yesterday morning, replaced it with the drive i bought to extend my disk pool with...
that drive then later on also through errors, allot less severe, but worrisome, thank F for RaidZ2.

I had my original 2 x 8TB that was removed, reinstalled them, running bad blocks on them to confirm they good, then going to create a Raid1 Diskpool on them and move some of the very critical data onto them.

Then back to the original pool, this morning while installing the, i happen to remove/replug all the power cables and data cables on the main disk pool, I also put the drive i removed yesterday back into the drive cage, powered it and sata cabled it...

Will be running a bad blocks on it.

Interesting, the drive that through errors yesterday while the disk pool was re-silvering itself all green lights, after this mornings cable games. will just monitor closely.
