So I tried to change my password today..... oh the fun I am having

I logged on to the iburst site and changed my password, I then log off the sight and log back on to get an error.

So I phone helpdesk, the I answer all my security questions and the agent asks for my password, I tell him I never give passwords over the phone (good security practice I thought) he says, "Doesn't matter, he can see the password" :wtf: Now everyone can see my super secret "12345" password

I ask him to change it back to the original password, which he does and I can now log back on to the web page. I then try and change the password again, log off, log on, same error.

And this is where it starts getting fun. (this is sort of how the conversation went)

Agent: The log file they are referring to is on your computer
Me: No it isn't, it a server error
Agent: No it on your side, please close your browser and try again
Me: it is a server problem, but okay. (close/reopen firefox)
Me: Same error.
Agent: It must be the browser, try a different one.
Me: It is not the browser, it is a server problem. but okay (opens chrome)
Me: Same error.
Agent: Then it must be your computer.
(blood beginning to boil, they always do this.... it is never their fault, always the customers equipment)
Me: one sec want to try from a different machine. (move to another computer)
Me: Same error
Agent: Then it must be your router, what user name and password are you using on the router.
Me: it's not the my router, its a problem on your side. I am still using the same password on my router, because the password is only used when authenticating the first time.
Agent: (starts shouting at me) The how can you be using the internet if you have changed your password. please change the password on your router.
Me: No I will only change my router password when I know I can use the web site. 1 sec, (grabs ipad, turns off wifi uses 3g) trying from my ipad now on 3g.
Me: same error
Agent: ok, I will log a call. :wtf:

Why do I have to go through all this when I have to deal with iburst helpdesk? Please cant iburst spend a little bit of money and actually train their people

So this is a "Can not write to log file error on my computer" magically appearing on my ipad:
