tsadmin and logging

I don't really know who to ask about this but here goes.

I have been given a task to write a little script that logs every user that logs on to various servers(vpn). I know that you can at anytime see who is logged on using tsadmin.

Does anybody know if windows2003 or win2000 creates a log with the user and time that he logs in?
