I think it is more a case of an extremely desperate person who is either clinacally insane or does have a serious disease, as is commonly thougth by the people on the street.

This guys back is against the wall, with an internal rebellion in his party and continued pressure from the Int. Community (although clearly not enough). The population is very close to an all out revolt. It seems they do not have a dynamic enough leader to take them through this.

Just go back in history to our evil past. Remember when the populace was treated so badly that there were riots, works stoppages and even bombs. We have not seen that in Zim yet, as the people are too terrified BUT they are hungry and fedup. The time is near, I just wish someone with true balls of steel would step up and lead the people!
 
I think Zim is teetering on the edge.

Mugabe is pushing his luck. He doesn't have balls of steel, he just is too greedy to see the warning signs.
 
It's hilarious how the police force arrives with guns, sticks, riot shields and are armed with tear gas.

You don't really here of any violent tendencies from Tsvangirai and his supports.

What were they arrested for?
 
Tsvangirai, the few interviews I've seen: do admire the diplomacy and tact. (True balls of steel.)

You're kidding right? The man should come out of the closet where he's been hiding all his life, maybe then we would see some change. If it looks like a duck it surely must be a duck (and he definitely looks like a duck.)

I remember hearing that Mugabe had Syphilis which can cause insanity in it's final stages so potentially you could be right. I personally believe he is doing absolutely everything he can to hold on to power. This is a good reason for any president only being allowed a maximum of two 4/5 year terms in office.
 
just last week mugabe smugly said that "tsvangirai will never rule"

someone needs to go stuff mugabe's balls down his throat, before he succeeds in fulfilling his predictions :mad:
