Household question :)

No matter how often I clean the filter, the tumble dryer always blows out fluff and it ends up everywhere! Drives me mad! It ends up on the floor in front of the tumble dryer, on the machine itself .... anyone experiences the same and what can be done about it ?

Does it have an external vent?

We broke through the laundry wall and installed a vent. All fluff and warm air gone...

You know a forum has lost it's verve (or society has lost its problems) when people start threads about tumble-dry fluff.

I rather have fluf than be lectured by a teenager about politics.

Well said! :D ................ On second though, how can we tumble dry the ANC to get rid of their "fluf"

I suspect the issue is with a kak design of your dryer. Ours doesn't shed fluff anywhere.
That said, I think it's time for a vent for ours too.

Am having the same problem with mine, the fluff is all over the kitchen after washing kind of settles on everything like dust :(

Glad to know other people experience the same issues. Feels like my kitchen is dirty when I find fluff everywhere!!

Does your tumble dryer have an external vent (on the back of the machine)?

Or is it one of those with the filter attached to the front door (like the one is SS's pic above)?

It has a filter attached to the front door, Mickey.

When I had such a machine I found that the filter holder (plastic) was buckling when heated up and that created an opening for the fluff to escape. I ended up buying a new one every 6 months or so.

My current filter holder does seem to not fit properly and there are openings on the sides - it really seems not to fit snugly. Maybe if I replace the holder my problem will at the very least diminish ?
