Turkey potjie recipe ?

Does anyone have a good turkey potjie recipe ?

We are having a braai this weekend and instead of the usual I was thinking of making a potjie with turkey.
 
Need lots of moisture, nothing worse than dried out turkey

i just wanted to know what do you guys do after just purchasing a poitjie pot ? can i just start using it or what ?
i ask cos the last time i tried doing a poitjie all the black from the inside enamel came out into the food :( gross

Boil it with water a couple of times, let it cool down, rub it with onions and oil, repeat the process three or four times.

That's pretty toxic really.
You should really cook your pot off before using it.
 
Let me know how this turns out, keen to try it. Another thing I would try... add some Gammon in that mix! ;)
 
Turkey is overrated, I'd rather have chicken or properly prepared duck.
 
I'd rather have bird white-meat with a good curry spice with anything ....
