turning on data roaming for Telkom Mobile.

I am on Telkom Mobile prepaid and when we had load shedding i was unable to connect to my mobile data and upon phoning 8ta call centre i was told to change my settings to MTN and to enable data roaming in my phone settings.
As i am over 70 and not technically literate just wan to know if it is safe enabling data roaming seeing one reads all the time about people loosing data?

It's fine as long as you don't go overseas with that setting on.

Enable roaming, select the 3g network option, set network to mtn, no fear of overspend even if you out of country as it won't work
