Won't work on honeycomb unless it's a supported device... Ie. The 10.1 and the 7inches
 
Has anyone managed to get this working on the Asus Transformer.

I have a HTC Desire (rooted) running Gingerbread 2.3.3, and the hacked DSTV app works fine.

The exact same app wont work on my unrooted Transformer. It gets to the channel list fine, then when I select a channel the screen rotates (landscape/portrait) then crashes?

Any ideas. Do you think it will work if I root the tablet?

No crash on mine, but I am rooted.

Thanks, but think I'm going to give up on this one. Don't have a Drifta yet so need to borrow one from a friend again. Besides, the Transformer is wifi only and the whole authentication process with switching between wifi access points on tablet to get the app started is very irritating. I'm also anxiously expecting ICS in the next couple of months which I'm sure will bring along more issues with the DSTV app.

Haven't had a reason to root my transformer yet, but if ASUS is slow with the ICS update then I'll start looking into it.
 
i got one of these JAP 10" droids. What do i need to do ,, to get it to work ??
 
makes no difference, unless you have a supported tablet the markey will never let u download it.

you will need to find it on an unofficial source amd hope it works, last count it supported like 10 devices and they were mostly samsungs.

also does not work on rooted or unofficial roms.

Works on my rooted galaxy tab and nexus one. Both running custom roms.

was on a gingerbread variant of some sort for my n1 and galaxy tab. also works on my honeycomb flyer.

i am talking about the app that this thread initially related to btw (ie not the market app).
 
The market app supports the Desire HD but since the recent update to 2.3.5, I get a message saying that the device is not supported when opening the app. Any suggestions?
 
Love using it on both laptop and phone any why to get the screen bigger on my laptop at all

I would like to know the following. I bought an huawei ideos s7 slim tablet and a drifta multichoice decoder,can i view the drifta on my huawei and how do i go about it.
