Tutu wants more black Boks

Also, no Chinese in the team. Or is transformation reserved for blacks only?

Colour should have no impact on whether or not you're chosen to represent the country. It should be the best players of the country representing the country. Simple as that.

African style football doesn't work....we'll up the rankings if the whole squad was made up with colored players...better skill and innovation. No whites...we either play rugby, hockey, cricket.....or end up singing at Huisgenoot Skouspel...this year at Grand West btw

I reckon we put Tutu on the field as a forward.

Maybe then he will get the message that it's not based on skin colour, it's based on capability at the time of selection.

If he has a problem with there being fewer black candidates, then he should direct his ire at rugby development, not one specific team.

I like tortoise pace transformation, that seems to be the only thing that works, that's real transformation. Not satisfying someone with numbers and percentage as fast as with the help of cadres and incompetence .

As if it isn't bad enough for politicians & ministers constantly whingeing about the "too white" teams ... now we have an aged fool of a god-botherer joining the mix
About time for Tutu to go Tata

He is yet to be dressed as a Springbok again, when he is ready.

He's coloured. Not that it makes a difference anyway.

Wish people would leave sport. Seriously... If there was no money in it would they still have pushed for it to be Quota'd?
I will boycott all forms of rugby the day they stop selecting the players on Merit. I do believe the current players of colour is there on merit and it's an insult to them for people to think they got there because of their colour...

Couldn't have said it better myself.

I do really hope that one day we'll be able to have everyone come out and say that they want the best possible Bok team.

For the time being I have absolutely no interest in hearing about people not being given the opportunities and life is so unfair. BS. There are definitely people who are worthy of the Bok jersey irrespective of their colour or home language. And if they got there, then so can anyone else.

The very idea of having quota players means that you're making the sport more dangerous. Do you really think that Nonu isn't going to run into you with the same amount of enthusiasm just because you needed a chance?
