Tuxedo Computers launches AMD-only Linux gaming laptop

"World's first" AMD-only Linux gaming laptop launched

Bavarian Linux PC brand Tuxedo Computers has unveiled its first AMD-only gaming laptop, Phoronix reports.

The Sirius 16 Gen1 features an AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS processor and AMD Radeon RX 7600M XT graphics card. This can be paired with up to 96GB of DDR 5-5600MHz RAM.

Pricing starts at €1,699 (R34,763) for the entry-level model with 16GB RAM and 500GB SSD.

If the display goodies are the same as the higher end machines it is not a bad deal.
