so basically when i watch tv i have to plug ther jack into my tv card and when i wanna watch a movie of my hdd i have to plug the jack of my mobo... very irritating...any suggestions ??? please help

Yes. What you need is one of those short 3.5mm male jack cable (both sides), You plug this into the TV Card Sound out and the otherone into the line-in of the sound card. Then it will run your TV's sound through you sound card instead of you change the jack everytime.

Onboard sound card? Make sure you are connecting to the correct port (refer to your motherboard manual).

Have you look at the sound settings in your TV card program. Select your sound card as the playback sound source .etc.

Does your TV card have an audio connector on the card itself as well? (not the ones on the back panel)

Mine could take an internal and external connection, so to avoid the problem you're having, I used the internal connectors directly from the motherboard to the TV card - worked fine after that.

I also encountered a problem with the software setup itself, where I had to go through a number of audio setup configurations to get it to work properly - check your soundcard settings (double-click on the sound icon on the tray) to make sure the correct items are not muted...
