TV Card to Record from DSTV

I have a PVR with a number of videos. I also have a media player. Previously I would record the PVR stuff onto DVD's but my DVD Recorder broke so I am looking to copy off the movies through a PC card. My first attempt (Compro C200 Plus Videomate Capture USB stick) didn't work too well. The quality was not great and it stuttered from time to time so I am looking for another alternative but hoping to get some feedback from other people before spending the cash.

I would like something that records from RCA leads (or the SCART cable). Any ideas? I am not too stressed about MPEG4 because I can convert it afterwards although it would be nice.

I gave a Hauppauge HVR-2200 to a friend recently. I'll contact him and find out if he wants to sell it or give it back to me. If he wants to give it back, its yours, gratis. If he wants to sell it, i'll PM you with details. The card sells for R1100 more or less. I'll try to get him to focus more on the free part and not the sell part of my plan.
