Hi Guys

need some help. i want to get a tv card, which one i dont know?

compro or hauppauge????

Thanks

hauppauge is the way to go a lot of support for this product.
I have got the small PVR150 and it is great as it dose all the processing and leaves my CPU free to do other things.

I'd say aslong as it has a hardware encoding than all is fine. I'm not familiar with compro but hauppauge is a good buy.

Can I use this on my Vista x64? Is 64bit fully supported or not really?

Merc, what's the picture like??

Does anyone know if the PVR 150 and even the PVR USB2 work with mythTV?

I'm very happy with the picture quality from the AV (RCA) input. I've played a bit with Vista Media Centre, but I think a DSTV HD PVR is the better option, because you cant use the card's tuner to change channels (need to use decoder as set-top box and foward IR signals) and need to use a hack to get EPG info. I also couldnt find any HD capture cards locally. The advantages of Vista MC for me was the nice Microsoft interface and streaming video to multiple Xbox360s. Havent played with MythTV yet, but I'm sure Google can help.
