TV-In How to use it???

Hi guys,

I've got an Sapphire Radeon X1800 XT which comes with built in TV-in adapter.

Sad thing is i dunno how to use it and was wondering if someone could help me...

You see, i need it for a school project and i'm gonna be plugging it in to a video camera.

I have got 2 cables, an S-video cable and a composite cable, one has red,green and blue plugs on the opposite end and the other has 2 yellow plugs and 2 black s-video plugs.

I can plug it in, but i'm not sure what to do from there.....

any help would be much appreciated

u need some kind of software that supports your capture card.. have a look at wat came with the card. My old radeon vivo came with powerproducer or something... think nerovision also worked

You plug the s-video plug into the graphics card and plug the other end of it into the composite cable, it looks like a ps2 port, then you plug the composite cables into the video camera, that's what I think. Then you use the supplied software to capture the video, put the video camera on video playback mode, go into powerdirector, configure it to pickup the video camera and press play, there should be a small window displaying the video, you then choose the correct format and record it on your harddrive

I couldn't find my drivers and software for my graphics card (don't you hate it when that happens), so now i'm busy downloading a program called TVR...hope it works...

Nerovision was too big for guys like me who still have dial-up's....until Telkom decides to install my ADSL....

try using windows movie maker, it is free, and on your hard drive already probably. start/all programs/windows movie maker
