Morning!

Has anyone had any success logging into the TV Licence FAST Pay website? I couldn't log in last year, and have the same problem this year, just get an error message after login.

I find it comical that the SABC whines about people not paying their licences, but they can't be bothered to make sure their payment gateway works.

I would say just do an EFT or if you near Auckland Park you can go to the walk centre in Radio park, I think they open Mon - Fri 9:00 - 14:00 or 15:00

Alternatively, pay at the counter using your TV licence account number as the reference at the following banks:

ABSA

Deposit into Account Number: 2840 000 241, Branch No: 632005

FNB

Deposit into Account Number: 620 094 349 87, Branch No: 250 655

Standard Bank

Deposit into Account Number: 002 351 234, Branch No: 051 001

Nedbank

Please note that television licence payments may now be made over the counter at any Nedbank branch.

Use your TV licence account number as reference when making payment.

TV Licences account details:

Account Name: TV Licences

Bank Name: ABSA

Account No: 4050 720 141

Branch No: 33 51 05

Reference No: (Use your TV licence account number as your reference number)

Kindly ensure that you enter only your correct nine-digit TV licence account number in the BENEFICIARY REFERENCE field.
 
While I'm aware of the EFT and walk-in options, I don't want to use them - why is irrelevant at this stage. The point is, they offer a payment gateway, it's also the first payment option they have listed on their website so one would assume it's supposed to be the primary method. Yet it doesn't work, and from what I can see, hasn't worked for more than a year.

So, if anyone has any luck logging into the site please drop a reply on the thread.

I think that's what I'm subtly implying. How can you expect people to pay for something, when you make it difficult and/or inconvenient for them to do so? Doesn't seem like a solid business strategy. And that shows in their response when I sent a query to them asking why I couldn't log in. Instead of answering the question, they just suggested I do an EFT, which is not what I asked and not something I have any interest in doing - else I would have done it from the start.

Pay on the Clicks website using your easy pay no and earn 15% back if you a ebucks member.. Level dependant
