tv link remote

Hi, I moved the decoder, pull some wires and now the second tv remote won't work.
Still a dual view decoder.
The led does glow on the back off the unit at the second tv.
there is 9.05 volt dc on the tv wire.
Is was and is enable on the menu.
the remote does have new batteries in and it test ok for infra red.
did the unit just die, or does it need 12 volt.
otherwise only next week to multi choice to test it.

tv-links die rather easy. not warrentee on them. replaced four in six years.

Please only buy the multichoice TV links I have bought the ellies and space TV links and all are crap, please buy the original one from multichice.
