South Africa has been broadcasting digital terrestrial tv for years already. They just haven't done the analogue switch off.If South Africa ever converts into digital tv, will all the tv masts be demolished?..also does anyone know the dates the masts were erected?

Where do you think the digital signals are broadcast from?
I was thinking it will be like Cable in the US, it comes in like Telkom lines, but that would be a lot of work and money.

I'm sure Digital Terrestrial Television still needs broadcast towers (which I am assuming is what you mean by masts)...
And politics
