TV Mounting Brackets

I need to wall mount a LCD TV and would like to know if the mounting holes at the back of LCD/Plasma tv's are all similar positioned. I have seen some wall mounts where the bracket that attaches to the tv have movable parts to align the holes (of the bracket to the tv), but I have also seen types that do not have this (see pic below).



The reason I am asking is because the price difference is vast. The above mount costs R800, but the mounts with adjustable parts cost about R1,800.

The mount needs to tilt sideways, as in the picture below.

I have the mount that can rotate my tv around the wall.I never use it lol

Dont worry about the holes, there is a standard that all the TV manufacturers agreed upon so you should be safe.

LOL...I won't be able to watch it without the tilt as I will be parallel to the tv then.

What height are planning on mounting it?
Sometimes people mount it to high, and then you strain your neck after a period of time.

It is for viewing in bed (so not extended periods).
