Does anyone remember the TV series called The Game? It was aired in the 90s. It was based on guys that played rugby. I am trying to find the theme song but can't find it anywhere :cry:

This was really a good show. I wouldn't mind downloading or purchasing it.

Lol. You enjoyed that *****. It was pretentious english language SA television at it's worst. That was when everyone on SABC spoke posh.
 
Heh. It is quite possible that my memory is deceiving me. Still, my curiosity has been peaked.
 
That stupid show where the main dude was scared to tackle someone during a game because he thought he would kill them? Where the choreography of the games made it look like pre-primary rugby?

Phone the SABC. I am sure that if they get 1 inquiry about it they will use it as an excuse to show reruns of it for the next 5 years.

The main dude was Gavin Hood (Director of Tsotsi and Xmen: Wolverine)

Thanks for the pointers guys. Also I didn't realise that it was THE Gavin Hood, now I am even more adamant to get it.
 
I saw the replay on SABC Anchor and was pleasantly surprised to see that the main dude became THE Gavin Hood. Lot of negative comments here ... cant really remember the story line but as far as I remember the dudes dad was big in rugby and it was expected from the son (Gavin) to be too ... but he hated it ... I think whoever are behind SABC Anchor (DSTV) bought all the old stuff from the SABC ... they are probably the people to contact
