TV Wall Mounting Woes

I'll keep this short.

Bought this mount from Hirsh's today along with a new 48" Samsung LED TV.

The screws (20mm M8) that came with the mount kit are way too short to actually attach the back of the wall mount plate to the back of the TV.

Any used this specific mount successfully?

Should I return it? Are the Ellies ones any good?

Had the same issue with my Samsung tv and wall mount. Can't remember the name now , but ended up just buying 4 slightly longer screws for 10 bucks and it worked perfectly.

The Ellies ones are far better. Had no issue mounting my Sony LED TV.

They come packaged with a variety sized screws, I guess thats why.

Have an Ellies one too but the M8 screws in there are the same length as the new wall mount's screws so it won't work.

I'm unsure whether I should return the wall mount and look for something better or just go to Builders and get longer screws?
