I will appreciate advice on how to fix my TVLink problem. I tried a number of things but cannot get it right. I have three TV screens and one DSTV HD 4U decoder (withou Extraview). The first screen links with HDMI to the decoder and works fine.
RF out on the decoder feeds an Ellies SB5F booster (with power feedthrough and TV link compatible) and further on there is an Ellies 5-1000MHz splitter (with power feedthrough) feeding the other two screens.
I have two TVSpida TVLinks from Aerial King and they work with this system but with the following problems:
- I can only get one TVLink to work at a time, with or without the SB5F booster
- The TVLinks do not work if I add the second TVLink
- Even if a TVLink is working it is unreliable i.e. I often need to press the remote button a few times before it reacts, if it reacts
I tried a powered SLX 2 splitter from Aerial King but it does not improve the situation.
Where do I start looking for the problem?
