Tweets get toxic as Semenya marries

When Caitlin Jenner graced the cover of Vogue magazine, she was celebrated. But when Caster Semenya married her girlfriend she was ridiculed.

The athlete was a hot topic on social media when news leaked that she had married her long-time partner, Violet Raseboya, in a traditional ceremony over the weekend.

While pictures of Semenya and Raseboya drew some congratulatory messages, the couple was also mocked.

Reports said the couple got married in Ga-Dikgale near the Capricorn District of Limpopo.

Several Twitter commentators questioned Semenya's gender and chastised her for marrying another woman...
