Has anyone tried using these ?

Twisp is not a real cigarette, but a personal and portable vaporiser, that uses micro-electronics and a lithium polymer cell to evaporate nicotine in "smoke" from a replaceable cartridge.

The vapour does not smell nor does it contain tar, carcinogens or smoke particulate found in first and second hand cigarette smoke, but it feels, tastes and looks just like the real thing.

Best of all you can "smoke" your nicotine machine virtually ANYWHERE!

Twisp electronic cigarettes represent the very latest technology in micro vaporisers, being the smallest, lightest and most reliable on the market

A battery-powered cig sounds a little weird...

I saw this on some site in the UK a while back. Looked really interesting. I'd love to try it. :)

Peter Ucko gave Twisp a bashing on Cape Talk yesterday, and suggested they were sponsored by "Big tobacco" to keep people on nicotine. It has to be better than smoking tobacco though.

I have heard a way to quit is to:

- buy a new box and smoke one ciggie.
- then take out another one and rub the end into some fresh dog poop and put it back in the box.
- shake the box up so you don't know which is the pooh-ciggie.
- every time you want a smoke open that box.

Wouldn't it be cheaper to just down a pint of asphalt?
In the end you get the same amount of tar in your lungs.

No matter what you smoke, by the time you turn 40 (especially if you are female) your lips will look like a cats anus.

erm . . . . .dude. . .. . . why were you looking at a cats anus?

I have three cats, two are Siamese, and all had to be "fixed" at an early stage. So I know pretty much every bit of a cat their is. Plus, an aunt of mine smoked since she was 16 and she is now close to 40. One day I just subconsciously made the visual connection...

lol. that explains alot. Anyways i suppose it depends on the person. My dads been smoking for quite awhile now. i think since he was 12. his breath HONKS!!!!! but otherwise hes in good shape. but i do agree with you though. smoking is bad either way. (im a smoker btw) thats why im going for one of these options. they might do the trick.
