Which twitter client would those who use the service recommend that:
- uses twitlonger
- can show threads/conversations
- keeps the current position when it refreshes instead of moving to the newest tweet when a refresh happens.

I use Chromedeck extension for Chromium. It allows for longer messages, thread view (if you click on reply), and as far as I've seen it does not jump to the top when refreshing, but rather shows the column title in a different colour when new updates come in.

Edit: It also allows for more than one Twitter account, as well as Facebook updates. Groovy.

I use tweedeck, either can install the Chromium extension or the desktop. I run the desktop in one of my "werkskerms"

will try that out in the meanwhile. seems like what i am looking for.
