Twitter to fire staff

Restructuring <> Firing.

One implies that you can't do your job. The other simply means the business could no longer support your job.

Basically with one you weren't coming to the party, with the other they weren't coming to the party.

Restructuring and reduction in staff, is what is says, though. Although retrenchment (layoff) and firing also aren't the same thing. As you say, one's for business purposes, other's probably personal.

Crap...soon the morons will need to find new platforms to moron on. Instagram could be it but nobody does anything offensive on there so I doubt it'll last.

See title vs content.

That's why I posted. Title says fired, content says restructured.

Restructuring obviously leads to a reduction in staff.
